1General information only
All content on axleandhaul.com, including articles, fault code explanations, tables, troubleshooting steps and specifications, is published for general information and reference. It is not professional mechanical, engineering, safety, legal or financial advice.
Reading our content, or emailing us about it, does not create a professional or service relationship between you and Axle & Haul or KCS Global Group. Any action you take based on our content is strictly at your own risk.
2Fault codes and troubleshooting
Fault codes are machine-specific. Our team researches every code from manufacturer documentation, as described in our editorial policy, but please keep the following in mind:
- The same code can have a different meaning, cause or severity on a different model, serial number range, controller or software version.
- Code formats and code lists change over time, and manufacturers can update them without notice.
- Our code lists may not include every code for every machine.
- A code shows what the machine’s system has detected. It does not always identify the root cause, and more than one fault can produce the same code.
- Clearing or resetting a code does not repair the underlying problem.
- Troubleshooting steps we describe are general starting points. They are not a complete diagnostic or repair procedure.
Always confirm a code and its recommended action in the official operation and maintenance manual or service information for your exact machine, or with your authorised dealer.
3Specifications and figures
Specifications such as operating capacities, weights, dimensions, fluid capacities, pressures, torque values and service intervals can vary by model, serial range, configuration, attachments and market. Figures on our site are for reference only. Before you load, lift, transport, service or adjust a machine, check the figures in the manufacturer’s documentation and on the machine’s own labels and plates.
4Safety
You are solely responsible for your safety and the safety of anyone around the machine.
Working on or near heavy equipment involves serious hazards, including moving parts, raised lift arms and attachments, stored hydraulic pressure, hot fluids and surfaces, electrical systems and unexpected machine movement. Before any inspection or repair:
- Follow every safety instruction in the manufacturer’s operator and service manuals.
- Follow the lockout, shutdown and support procedures the manufacturer specifies.
- Follow the workplace safety rules that apply to you, such as those published by OSHA or your local authority.
- Use the correct tools and personal protective equipment.
- Do not attempt any work you are not trained, qualified and equipped to do safely.
5Repairs and warranty
Repairs, adjustments or modifications carried out by anyone other than an authorised dealer may affect your machine’s warranty, service agreement, insurance or compliance with local regulations. Check your warranty terms and speak to your dealer before carrying out work yourself. Axle & Haul is not responsible for any loss of warranty or coverage resulting from work based on our content.
6Accuracy and updates
We work hard to keep our content accurate and up to date, and a second team member reviews every article before it is published. Even so, we cannot guarantee that all information is complete, current or free from errors. Content reflects our research at the time of publication or last update, shown on each article. We review and correct content under our corrections policy.
