4Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We and our partners use them for three purposes.

  • Essential cookies help the site load and work correctly and keep it secure.
  • Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are read most.
  • Advertising cookies are used by Google and its partners to show ads and measure how they perform.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop some parts of the site from working properly. Where the law requires it, for example for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies, and you can change your choice at any time.

5Google advertising

We use Google AdSense to show ads on this site. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.

  • Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites.
  • You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings.
  • You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info or, in Europe, at youronlinechoices.eu.

To learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, read How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and How Google uses cookies in advertising.

6Analytics

We use Google Analytics to measure how visitors use the site. It collects information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, your approximate location and the type of device you use. We use this information in aggregate to improve our content, and we do not use it to identify you personally.

You can prevent Google Analytics from using your data by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

7Other third parties

Hosting

Our website host stores the site and records standard server logs, such as IP addresses and request times, to keep the site running and secure.

Some pages may contain affiliate links. If you click one, the partner site may set its own cookies to record that you came from Axle & Haul. See our affiliate disclosure for details.

Some of our service providers, including Google, may process information on servers outside India.

9How long we keep information

We keep emails only for as long as we need them to answer your question, follow up on a correction and maintain reasonable records, and then we delete them. You can ask us to delete your emails sooner at any time. Analytics and advertising data is kept according to the retention settings of the providers above.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including a secure HTTPS connection for the whole site and access to our email accounts limited to our team. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
